I have been a ginseng grower since 1977. We consider ourselves to be a small company, but BIG on quality. We set high standards and make sure these standards are met, from the seeds we plant to the finished product, only the highest quality is accepted.
We are 100% Canadian owned and operated and members of the Canadian Health Food Association. We are situated in Haldimand-Norfolk, the middle of the ginseng growing area of Southwestern Ontario, Canada.
Through the years the majority of our business has been in the wholesale of ginseng root. Since then we have expanded into ginseng value-added products. In an effort to better serve the general public with their ginseng needs, we purchased a retail outlet in Simcoe, Ontario, in 1995. In addition to our growing retail and wholesale operations we also distribute all of our products through our mail order system and now this Internet site.

WHAT IS GINSENG?
Ginseng has reigned as the "King of Herbs" and as the single most valued herb in Oriental medicine for well over 5,000 years. It seems extremely unlikely that these wise cultures, would continue to ingest a substance for thousands of years if it didn't work.

Ginseng is the most widely used medicinal herb in the Orient. It is a native Canadian plant and has been exported since the early 1700's making Ginseng one of the earliest exports from Canada. Canadian Ginseng is known as Panax Quinquefolium. Panax comes from the ancient Greek language and means "all healing" or "cure all".
